Calculus (DE)
Credits 1Students will be presented with concepts of limits, derivatives, differentiation of various types of functions and uses of differentiation rules, application of differentiation, antiderivatives, integrals, and applications of integration. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for further study in calculus with analytical geometry by providing students with the necessary competencies in finding limits, differentiation, and integration. Successful completion of this course equates to MTH 263 Calculus I (4 credits) at NOVA.
